French Doors

French patio doors open all the way for a clear view of the outdoors. This double-door style can make your room feel brighter and larger. It lets in ample natural light.

You can determine how wide to open them—just barely or fully—to let in fresh breezes during the summer. Large panes of glass hold on to the sun’s glow during the winter, helping keep your room cozy.

French-style doors open inward or outward, depending on the model. They need more room to totally open—particularly for doors that open inward.

They can open wider than a single-panel sliding door. A sliding door can only open to one side. It’s also limited by its frame.
